Infographic: Leverage Social Media for Your Job Search

Recently I came across this interesting Infographic about how job seekers can leverage online resources and social media for their job search in this modern age.

Here are some key takeaways from the infographic:

  • 80% of jobs are gained through networking
  • 40% of professionals use online social networks
  • 1 out of 5 hiring managers research social networks to find out information about prospective candidates
  • 20% of job seekers use their smart phones for their job search

How have you used social media tools such as LinkedIn, FacebookTwitter, and Branchout to network in the job market? How have you been successful using social media websites for your job search?
